Julie Barber

Julie Barber is the Senior Vice President of Health and Wellness Merchandising for Walmart U.S. She is responsible for over-the-counter (OTC), vitamin, nutrition, and wellness products and services sold in Walmart stores and on Walmart.com. She has been with the company for over 15 years and has held roles in Walmart Services, as well as several merchandising roles across Fresh, Frozen Poultry, and Snacks, where she led large growth of healthy snacks. In 2021 she was named one of MMRs Most Influential Women in Retailing and named Merchant of the Year in 2022 by Drug Chain News.

Julie has a high aptitude for thought leadership, marketing, merchandising, and strategic planning.  She is highly involved with the community, having served as chair of the Sunshine School Gala, Heart Ball, and CF Wine Opener.  She is also on the board of the Friendship Foundation and leads the University of Arkansas Retail Advisory Board.  She has a passion for mentoring others so leads a mentor circle through the Network of Executive Women as well as leads a mentor circle at Walmart. In 2021 she was named one of MMRs Most Influential Women in Retailing. Julie enjoys spending time with her family including her husband Keith and three children Coleman (12), Olivia (7), and Will (7).  When she has a spare moment, she loves to run.
